Friday Night Death Yoga
Intimately connect with your body, nature, and your relationship to death in this immersive yoga & meditation experience. Friday Night Death Yoga is an immersive yoga and meditation experience centered on the theme of death. At Friday Night Death Yoga, we'll take some time to pay respect to the reality of death itself. If that doesn't strike you as a fun way to spend your Friday night, I get it. It’s DEATH. It’s famously scary and morbid - but that’s mostly when you’re peeking from the rear view mirror. I think you’ll find that if you turn towards death, and really observe, it starts to look like a friend. You’ve probably heard stories of people who have a close brush with death and it transforms their lives for the better. They were almost killed, but weren’t. They’re ALIVE! They can move, laugh, listen to music, give a hug, or watch the birdies fly through the sky. And it all suddenly feels miraculous.
Of course, life is always miraculous. A closeness to death just helps you to see it. And you don’t have to wait for a near death experience to offer yourself that perspective. At Friday Night Death Yoga, you can pair transformational death meditations with beautiful, guided yoga. We can't wait to share this special practice with you.
