Dr. Kristin Wodka understands, on a personal level, how quality healthcare and a practitioner who really cares can empower you with the tools needed to address your health and make informed decisions for yourself. At age 15, she fell in love with chiropractic when the introduction of adjustments and chiropractic acupuncture helped to change her life and her personal health journey. She has since dedicated her work to providing the same life-changing care to all her patients.
Before graduating with her Doctorate in Chiropractic with an additional certification in Chiropractic Acupuncture from the National University of Health Sciences, Dr. Wodka wanted to learn more about the mind/body connection and how our different body systems impact each other. Ultimately, Dr. Wodka’s undergraduate studies in Psychology and Therapeutic Massage helped her further develop a holistic approach to patient care.
Dr Wodka’s well-rounded understanding of the mind/body connection and an in-depth knowledge of both massage therapy and chiropractic have allowed her to define what quality care looks like for her patients. Care with Dr. Wodka begins with an intensive health history review, intake exam, and our signature treatment: combining soft tissue therapy with chiropractic adjustments, which is included in every follow-up appointment. Our appointment times are longer, so they allow her to spend more hands-on time working directly with each patient.
Therapeutic philosophy: At Schwabe Chiropractic we are passionate about spending hands-on time helping our patients heal and restore their bodies. Our doctors have a background in massage therapy, so their hands are well-trained, and they approach the table with an in-depth understanding of how to manipulate the body to restore strength and function and reduce pain. Following your initial exam and treatment, your average follow-up appointment will be 25 minutes spent entirely with your doctor. Our doctors really take the time to understand what is going on and custom-tailor your treatment plan to ensure long-lasting results. Each treatment at Schwabe Chiropractic incorporates a combination of soft tissue therapy alongside a chiropractic adjustment and may include corrective exercises, nutrition and supplement recommendations, and overall wellness education.
