Services offered: Individual and Couples Therapy for Adults, EMDR Therapy, Somatic and Emotionally Focused Release and Healing. I specialize in working with individuals struggling with anxiety & depression, relationship issues & codependency, as well as new moms (prenatal & postpartum).
Therapeutic approaches: I provide a warm and non-judgmental environment where you can be challenged to think outside your comfort zone, enabling self-exploration and personal growth. I tailor my approach in sessions based on the unique individual. Some examples of this could include CBT, somatic movement and breathwork, mindfulness, emotional release, and EMDR Therapy.
Holistic Therapy
I strongly believe in healing from an integrative and holistic perspective that looks at the individual as a whole (mind, body, and spirit). Through my training and practice of holistic psychology, I feel passionate about empowering others to achieve well-being with evidence-based psychology methods and holistic wellness practices. I have learned that making a change in mental health is so often connected to the body. In addition to our brains, our bodies and nervous system store memories, emotions, and imprints of the past, and this often holds the answers to why we behave in certain ways. I make sure to utilize this awareness and understanding in my work with clients so that they can create long-lasting change.
Therapeutic Approach
I believe humans have the powerful ability to heal themselves. Therapy works best when there is a fundamental understanding of this and individuals are empowered to make changes in their lives. My integrative approach to treatment is tailored to the individual and I utilize a comprehensive combination of therapeutic modalities and skills. Examples of this in sessions could look like more traditional “talk” therapy to process something specific, breath work, meditations and somatic exercises, and emotional release. My goal is to provide a space that cultivates ease. Feeling safe is imperative to growth and healing. Through our therapeutic relationship, I help clients become more attuned with themselves so that they understand their wants, needs, and feelings which improves their relationships and overall quality of life.
