Dr. Schilling began her career in the medical field at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she earned a double major in Neurology and Nutritional Science. She went on to obtain her Doctorate of Chiropractic (DC) and Master's in Functional Nutrition (MS) from Parker University in Dallas, TX.

An athlete at heart, Dr. Schilling has participated in a variety of sports throughout her life, including track and field, volleyball, and gymnastics. Currently, she is deeply immersed in the triathlon community, having competed in multiple half Ironman races - including Half Ironman Worlds 2024 - as well as her first full Ironman in Wisconsin '22.

Her passion for endurance sports has fueled her professional interest in lower extremity mechanics, gait analysis, and injury prevention. After personally experiencing several running-related injuries, Dr. Schilling became dedicated to understanding not only why these injuries occur, but also how to treat and prevent them effectively. This hands-on experience, combined with years of research and continued involvement in the sport, has equipped her with a unique perspective and skill set for working with athletes of all levels.

In addition to her work in sports performance and rehabilitation, Dr. Schilling has a strong background in nutrition. Having grown up as a type 1 diabetic, she developed a deep understanding of the profound impact nutrition has on health and performance. She is currently pursuing her certification as a Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) and is always happy to discuss fueling strategies, race-day nutrition, or general wellness with her patients.

Whether you're a weekend warrior, professional athlete, or somewhere in between, Dr. Schilling is passionate about helping you move better, feel stronger, and perform at your best — both in sport and in life.
