My career started in recreation therapy and soon transcended to psychotherapy. I am passionate about mental health, vulnerability, connecting with people in a genuine way, and empowered living. I strive to learn everyday and have a natural curiosity to understand people's personal stories. I celebrate ALL identities: all races, religions, sexual orientations, gender identities, disabilities, ethnicities, bodies, and people. Grounding my work in cultural humility, I believe everyone is the expert of their own unique lived experiences.
My therapeutic approach involves both experiential and talk therapy. I focus on the importance of strengthening the mind/body connection in therapy by integrating mindfulness-based practices and grounding techniques and helping clients access their inner wisdom and intelligence to feel empowered to make their own choices about what is best for them. I believe life is about experimenting and discovering what actually works. As serious as life struggles can be, I often try to invite fun, lightness, and warmth to the relationship. I encourage clients to develop trust in themselves and develop a deeper understanding of mind, body, and spirit.
I am available for either in-person or online therapy. My office is located in Littleton, CO. I accept Victim’s Compensation. You can reach out directly to me at (720) 248-7674.
