Christina Colombo, LPC, LAC

Services Offered: I provide individual and group therapy to adults, with specializations in grief, trauma, and substance use. Accessibility of services is important to me in my practice and I can serve clients of all socioeconomic statuses either through my private practice or through my community mental health practice.

Therapeutic approaches: I approach my work with clients holistically and collaboratively, and utilizing a combination of Somatic Experiencing, Internal Family Systems, mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing. I am also trained to use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

My passion to help others and offer support to those around me was innate from a young age. Through my various careers, I felt most fulfilled when I was offered opportunities to watch others grow and thrive in ways they did not think were possible. Prior to my role as counselor, I have had the pleasure to serve as an educator and teacher in both the private and public sectors.

Through my journey to become a counselor, I have served others in a variety of settings including community mental health centers, hospice, and non-profit organizations. I graduated in 2021 with my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regis University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC). Both of my licenses allow me to serve residents of Colorado.

I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy and working toward certification. I also specialize in grief, loss, and mourning and I have a Certificate in Death and Grief Studies through the Center for Loss & Life Transition.

If you are interested in learning more about my practice, please visit the services page of my website and get in touch if you are interested in working with me. I would be happy to schedule a free 30 minute virtual consultation.

Areas served: I can see clients in-person or virtually and am currently licensed to work with clients in Colorado.
